You can’t go wrong with black and white, something most are likely to agree with. This rings true even in the Dunk Low‘s case, as the “Panda” colorway continues to be one of the most purchased as of recent. But if you’re looking for something just a bit different, Nike is flipping the scheme for the silhouette’s newest women’s exclusive. Only two shades comprise the palette as is expected. White, however, plays a larger role here, dressing through the profile, lace unit, and midsole. Black, while applied in seldom, still takes center stage as it darkens not only the Swoosh but also the Nike branding, tread, lining, and insole.
The Nike Dunk Low has very quickly become many things: a canvas for Ben & Jerry’s flavor, a symbol of Hawker culture, and even a visual playground for the renowned Travis Scott. But here, the silhouette opts for simplicity, dressing up only in white and black. Compared to its counterpart, the latter neutral receives only a small fraction of the stage. Atop the Swoosh, tread, lining, and heel tab, the dark shade finds its place, contrasting greatly atop a backdrop made near entirely of white leather. The laces, tongue, and midsole follow suit, appearing equally clean in their respective materials.
