In an exclusive interview last month, Diamond Supply Co. founder Nick Tershay (aka Nicky Diamonds) confirmed that his brand had a new Nike SB project coming this year. Shortly thereafter, he teased a previously unseen black Dunk Low, but now it looks like there could be even more in the works.
Tershay’s latest teaser shows a white Nike SB Dunk Low boasting overlays with the croc-like texture found on the “Tiffany” Dunks. Unique to this iteration is a Velcro Swoosh, which reveals a “Tiffany” blue shade underneath. Further details include metal Diamond-branded aglets and what appears to be an icy translucent sole.
In addition to the white pair, the aforementioned black colorway features Tiffany-colored embroidery at the heel and a silver Swoosh.
The Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low “White” is another chapter to the story of one of the most heralded sneaker designs of all time. This 2018 release brings a fresh look to the classic Nike SB Dunk colorway that helped bring the model to the forefront of sneaker culture in the mid 2000s. It features a pristine white leather upper in both croc and smooth textures for a reference to the original design. From there it adds new details, including removable Velcro Swooshes in metallic silver that reveal Diamond’s signature shade of mint green below. The “NIKE” heel tabs can also be flipped up to reveal “DIAMOND” branding underneath. Also released in black, the Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low “White” is one of 2018’s most coveted releases.
Lovers of the Swoosh who cleared space for the hotly anticipated latest drops from Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB but missed out at retail, all is not lost. New iterations of the sneakers have now surfaced via resellers on popular secondary marketplace StockX.
Following 2005’s “Tiffany”, the brand new Dunk Low comes in yellow, white, and black. Each of the three shoes have been the subject of a ton of hype since their announcement, with the ultra-limited canary yellow pair causing so much commotion at the recent ComplexCon that the initial drop was canceled.
