The Nike Dunk Low “Plum 2020” is a design plucked from Nike’s archives and given a wide scale release in February 2020. Originally included as part of 2001’s “Ugly Duckling” pack, the “Plum” colorway, along with many early-2000s Japan-only co.jp Dunks, featured eccentric color combinations that quickly became the talk of the sneaker world for their exclusivity and premium build. The modern release features the same upgraded materials and skinny tongue as the original model. Supple purple suede overlays along the upper are contrasted by a lavender base that takes on a slightly lighter hue. Vibrant plum Swooshes, laces, and heel tabs complete the look. Release date: February 7, 2020.
After the once-popular Nike Dunk shoes have recently brought strong joint shoes, it is almost certain that the entire 2020 will also be the world of Dunk, and immediately after Viotech, the brand once again put the classic Dunk of the past. The color “Plum” is brought back. The “Plum” color matching was first introduced in 2001 and was one of the colors of the “Ugly Dunking” series launched by Nike in Japan. At that time, “Ugly Dunkling” included Plum, Veneer, Ceramic and other styles. Plum” color scheme is based on purple and red, and brings out a rich sense of hierarchy through dark and light purple suede materials. This re-enactment version of “Plum” has finally ushered in the official official map. It is reported that the shoes will be officially launched on February 7th.
The doors of the vault continue to open a little bit as Nike officially reveals plans to re-release a 2001 classic – the Dunk Low co.jp “Plum”. One of three colorful suede Dunks exclusive to Japan, known as the “Ugly Duckling” or “Ugly Dunkling” suits, Plums are known for their two-tone purple accents on the swoosh, laces, logo and sole. With red trim. Over time, suede ages with surprising grace, as the regal hue fades to become more like a Bordeaux red. Plus, the shoes were so popular that Nike SB released them back in 2011 as thick-tongue Highs. Dunk Low co.jp “Plum” confirmed to be on sale on February 7, through some “retro”-inspired Japanese shopping catalogs.
