This Air Jordan 1 Orange is based on a rather obscure Michael Jordan moment from early in his career when he shattered a backboard during an exhibition game in Italy. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG shoe is far from a general release, but isn’t super limited. Nike’s made a slight change to its planned rollout of the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard Away”.

    I got the orange/white version and it looks really good. However, I had to try several sizes to get it right. I wear size 9 to wear sb dunk and sb janoski, I have to buy size 8 to wear it. I know what's going on with the size chart. I do like my shoes to be a bit more comfortable, but still...don't know how Nike defines their size chart

    I've always been a fan of Retro 1 Jordans. One of the easiest shoes to pair with almost any outfit. The simplicity of the Retro 1 makes it stand out. Nike has enhanced the materials of this shoe. I am very happy with it. People who come up with colors are geniuses. The Jordan Retro 1s never disappoint.

    Overall, this is a great looking classic jordan 1 c/w. As always, my only problem is quality control. The leather is comparable to the Chicago 1, not too hard or plastic, but not too close to the quality of the SBB 1. Comfortable and clean, perfect for summer wear.

    I bought the OG Shattered Backboard Away AJ1 around my birthday and they are very comfortable but hard to get on and off. Suede is really nice, although I've been avoiding snow and water. The trendy color gets a lot of rave reviews and is perfect for basketball. I love them!
