Following on from the summer Dunk Low OG collab between Nike SB and by Parra, the model has been reworked by another famed Dutch creative Benny Komala, owner and founder of independent skate store Ben-G. The two-tone colourway and repeated Swoosh tick decoration brings a new character to the famous silhouette and is reflective of ‘90s graphics inspiration and the vibrancy of vintage tennis apparel.
Selected through Ben-G’s love of white shoes, the embossed leather uppers feature an all over Swoosh tick repeat which brings the emblem to centre stage as the model featuring the most ticks ever seen on a shoe. White cotton laces encase the highly cushioned tongue which has a mesh outer and a lucid green coloured fabric underside and a decorative woven label has been stitched to the top showing the full Nike Swoosh logo in white against a green, red and black coloured background. Matching this, a lucid green coloured lining runs throughout and is revealed around the inner edge of the ankle. Tying in with the rest of the custom features, the foam sockliner has a Zoom Air unit in the heel and is decorated with a full printed design. Bearing a repeat Swoosh tick pattern that varies in scale, the pattern is separated into coloured sections with tear-like edges against a white background.
